Job Description:
The Vendor Payment Specialist will be responsible for managing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in vendor payments, and maintaining compliance with company policies. Key responsibilities include creating and maintaining purchase orders, entering vendor bills accurately, applying bills correctly to POs, running reports for bill payment suggestions, processing vendor bill payments timely, amortizing expenses in the correct period, accruing expenses in the correct period, reconciling vendor accounts, entering and processing expense reimbursements, credit card transaction reconciliations, credit card transaction entries, AP Aging reporting, and month-end close reports including metrics reporting.
Qualification Requirements:
- College degree preferred.
- 2-3 years of relative experience preferred.
- Problem solver who consistently practices attention to detail and is process-oriented.
- Strong organizational and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to maintain vendor relationships.
- Great communication skills with a customer service mindset: email and phone.
- Trustworthy, able to handle confidential information.
- Strong MS Excel skills preferred.
- Netsuite and Concur experience preferred.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet all deadlines.
