Job Overview:

We are seeking individuals to assist with disaster relief efforts in a temporary, remote position. The ideal candidate will apply customer service techniques and learn account management systems while improving the customer's experience during a difficult time.

Hours of operation are from 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM ET, with shifts from 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM and 2:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Candidates accepted for this role will be contacted on an as-needed basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist customers with inquiries
  • Learn common requests and solutions
  • Improve the customer's experience
  • Utilize customer service techniques and systems
  • Escalate dissatisfaction to proper channels
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills
  • The ability to type swiftly and accurately
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Basic understanding of Windows operating systems
  • Highly reliable with regular attendance and punctuality
  • The ability to evaluate, troubleshoot, and follow up on customer issues
  • An aptitude for conflict resolution, problem solving, and negotiation
  • Customer service oriented (empathetic, responsive, patient, and conscientious)
  • Ability to multi-task, stay focused, and self-manage
  • Strong team orientation and customer focus
  • Thriving in a fast-paced environment with change and ambiguity prevalent
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and relationship building
