Job Title: Contingent Contact Center Agent

We are seeking agents to work as needed in response to disaster relief efforts. This is a temporary, remote position contingent on hurricane disaster relief needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist customers with service inquiries and resolve their issues efficiently
  • Develop a deep understanding of our products and services to provide effective solutions
  • Improve the customer's experience by being responsive, empathetic, and patient
  • Utilize our service techniques and systems to deliver exceptional results
  • Evaluate, troubleshoot, and follow up on customer issues to ensure complete satisfaction
Candidate Qualifications:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; however, prior experience in customer-facing roles is highly valued
  • Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills are essential for success in this position
  • The ability to type swiftly and accurately (20+ words a minute) will enable you to handle multiple customer interactions simultaneously
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and Windows operating systems is necessary for efficient task completion
  • High reliability, regular attendance, and punctuality are critical aspects of this role
  • An aptitude for conflict resolution, problem-solving, and negotiation will serve you well in this position
  • You must be customer service-oriented, empathetic, responsive, patient, and conscientious
  • Ability to multi-task, stay focused, and self-manage is essential for success in this fast-paced environment
  • Strong team orientation and customer focus will help you build strong relationships with your team and customers
  • You should be able to thrive in a dynamic environment where change and ambiguity are prevalent
  • Excellent interpersonal skills will allow you to build meaningful connections with your colleagues and customers
