The Assistant Merchandiser for Marketing Strategy will play a critical role in supporting the merchandising department at JTI. This position involves assisting in planning, operations, and administrative tasks to drive merchandising strategies and objectives forward.

Responsibilities:

  1. Support Merchandising Planning and Operations: You will assist in managing national merchandising calendars, toolkits, and inventory reports, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of marketing materials.
  2. Collaborate with Vendors: You will work closely with vendors to track performance, manage service agreements, and maintain compliance with company standards.
  3. Coordinate POSM Production and Distribution: You will oversee the production, deployment, and warehousing processes of POSM to ensure efficient distribution and display.
  4. Process Budgets and Invoices: You will assist in validating and processing budgets and invoices to ensure financial accuracy and adherence to company policies.
  5. Develop Merchandising Guidelines and Best Practices: You will contribute to the development of merchandising toolkits, guidelines, and process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our merchandising operations.

Requirements:

  • Education and Experience: A college graduate with at least one year of experience in FMCG or multinational companies (Marketing & Sales).
  • Skills and Qualifications: Knowledgeable in merchandising, trade activations, project, and budget management, as well as execution planning; proficient in MS Office (Excel); and possessing strong interpersonal and administrative skills.
  • Communication and Analytical Skills: Excellent English communication skills (oral and written), results-driven, and detail-oriented.
