The Opportunity

Are you looking for a workplace that values collaboration and innovation? We're seeking an ambitious individual to lead our Agile teams in implementing best practices.

As a Senior Scrum Master, you will be responsible for guiding and coaching multiple teams in Scrum methodologies, ensuring effective implementation and driving team success.

We are looking for someone with:

  • At least 5-7 years of experience as a Scrum Master delivering complex solutions with a degree in a relevant field.
  • Strong knowledge of agile coaching and facilitation principles.
  • Ability to stay up-to-date with industry developments and translate them into practical solutions.
  • Experience in managing squads involving stakeholders from multiple locations.
  • Desirable qualifications include Agile certifications and experience in insurance or ITIL.
  • Knowledge of Agile planning and tracking tools.
  • Effective communication and articulation skills.

On the job, you will:

  • Coach and support 1-2 Development teams.
  • Provide direction and mentorship to Scrum Masters.
  • Coach different levels of hierarchy through agile principles and practices.
  • Proactively provide real-time feedback to keep delivery on track.
  • Reinforce target agile behaviors.
  • Facilitate the adoption of agile principles and practices.
  • Help educate the squad on Agile practices and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Focus squads on value creation.
  • Facilitate and participate in Agile events, workshops, and townhalls.
  • Identify obstacles to team performance and facilitate resolution.
  • Guide and empower the flow of a cross-functional feature team.
  • Collaborate with software engineers and Product Owners to accelerate delivery.
  • Actively participate in sprints and enable the delivery of prioritized features.
  • Act as a servant leader to the team.
