Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Project Administrator to oversee the efficient installation of electric vehicle (EV) chargers.

This role will involve coordinating with various internal teams, utility companies, and municipal permitting departments to ensure seamless project execution. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure tasks are completed on schedule.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with utility companies and municipal permitting departments.
  • Monitor permits, applications, and approvals, escalating delays when necessary.
  • Prepare and review project documentation, including service request forms, utility maps, and permit packages.
  • Manage project timelines, dependencies, and deliverables in project management software.
  • Verify installation readiness, including utility upgrades, permits, and material availability.
  • Provide technical input leveraging electrical knowledge to collaborate with engineers and inspectors.
  • Communicate project status and timelines clearly with clients.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in project administration/project coordination/management within electrical, construction, or utility sectors.
  • Strong familiarity with electrical systems and ability to interpret one-line diagrams.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with project management software is an asset.
