Job Summary

This is a part-time, remote position that involves managing financial and administrative tasks to support business operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Management:
    • Manage daily bookkeeping in Xero, including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting.
    • Process transactions from platforms like Stripe and Wise.
    • Maintain compliance with accounting standards and implement best practices.
  • Administrative Support:
    • Coordinate with tutors and clients via TutorCruncher platform.
    • Manage email and WhatsApp communications.
    • Follow up on lessons logs and payments.
    • Provide excellent customer service.
    • Assist with record-keeping.
Requirements
  1. 2-3 years of bookkeeping experience with Xero proficiency.
  2. 1-2 years of administrative or customer service experience.
  3. Familiarity with Dext, TutorCruncher, Stripe, and Wise is advantageous.
  4. Knowledge of UK accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS) or willingness to undertake training.
  5. Excellent English communication skills.
  6. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  7. Self-motivated with remote work experience.
  8. Availability to work part-time with UK time zone flexibility.
