Key Roles and Responsibilities

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, including preparing financial reports, managing cash flows, and ensuring accurate and timely financial data management.

This is a full-time role on a US shift, with a work-from-home setup. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices, with significant experience in using QuickBooks Online and Bill.com.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting
    • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
    • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of all financial data.
    • Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
    • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
    • Oversee month-end and year-end close processes.
    • Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable
    • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes using QuickBooks Online and Bill.com.
    • Review and process vendor invoices, employee expenses, and client billings.
    • Ensure timely collection of receivables and payment of payables.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting
    • Assist in preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
    • Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis.
    • Recommend financial actions based on financial analysis and projections.
Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior accounting role
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Bill.com
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
Working Arrangements

This is a mid-senior level, full-time role with a work-from-home setup on a US shift.
