Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Building Systems Engineer to oversee the operation and maintenance of all building systems, facilities, and equipment in our retail environment.

The ideal candidate will ensure that all facilities are operating efficiently, safely, and in compliance with regulatory standards. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage projects effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the operation and maintenance of all building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire protection system.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve issues related to building systems and equipment.
  • Develop and implement maintenance procedures to ensure optimal functioning of facilities.
  • Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for repair and maintenance service.
  • Monitor energy usage and implement strategies to improve energy efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and environmental policies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Licensed Electrical/Mechanical Engineer certification required.
  • Proven experience in facilities management, preferably in a retail or commercial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
