Building Mechanical/Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • The scope of work shall cover the design, calculation, bill of quantities, and drawing(2D&3D) of building mechanical/electrical equipment and utility services such as heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC), plumbing and sanitary, fire protection, lighting, power system and the like for environmental and energy facilities such as waste-to-energy (WtE) incineration plant, sewage treatment plant, etc.
  • The successful applicant can also expect to learn and perform engineering design works related of both disciplines.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of BS in Mechanical or Electrical Eng'g; PRC Licensed Mechanical or Electrical Engineer. Fresh graduates are also welcome to apply.

  • Basic understanding of mechanical/electrical systems in buildings:

  • HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning)

  • Ducting and piping systems
  • Lighting and power systems
  • Electrical Load Calculations
  • Equipment layout and coordination
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical/electrical plans
  • Proficient in using AutoCAD and MS Office.
  • Experience in any 3D tools is an advantage.
  • Willing to be assigned in project sites or in the design office in Japan, depending on project requirements.
  • Willing to be trained in both design and site inspection roles.
  • Must study hard and learn Japanese language to have better communication with Japanese staff.
