Senior Solution Architect

The Role:


  • Develop enterprise-wide solution architecture strategy and roadmap.

Key Responsibilities:


  1. Translate business goals into technical vision and architecture blueprints.
  2. Evaluate emerging technologies that align with business objectives.

Design and Governance:


  • Oversee end-to-end solutions across systems, platforms, and applications.
  • Review, approve, and govern architecture designs ensuring adherence to standards, security, and compliance.
  • Serve as an escalation point for critical solutioning and integration issues.

Collaboration and Leadership:


  • Work closely with senior leadership, product owners, and business units to shape technology-enabled solutions.
  • Facilitate architecture workshops and solution deep-dives with stakeholders.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop cross-functional teams focused on business enabling, platform management, and solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless technology integration.

Project Oversight:


  • Support delivery teams with architectural guidance during development and implementation phases.
  • Ensure diagrams are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Drive technical risk management and support quality assurance processes.

Requirements:


  • Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in IT with at least 5 years in solution architecture and design.

Skills:


  • Strong understanding of architectural patterns (e.g. microservices, event-driven).
  • Cloud technologies knowledge (AWS, Microsoft Azure).
  • Knowledge of security principles, risk management, and compliance.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
