Job Description

The Performance Business Transformation Team is responsible for the expedited onboarding of asset owner and asset manager clients from a legacy internal platform to an external platform.

This role requires strong knowledge of performance, attribution, and analytics products, particularly in the institutional client segment. The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders across our global operating sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting comprehensive performance analysis of investment portfolios, including attribution analysis, benchmarking, and performance measurement against objectives.
  • Developing and maintaining performance and risk reporting frameworks, dashboards, and models to provide timely and accurate reporting to clients.
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with vendors and internal management/frontline staff.
  • Partnering with performance operations to understand client behavior where required.
  • Possessing business-level understanding of platform functions (legacy and external).
  • Working independently as well as on a team to verify performance/risk analytics at multiple levels across platforms using available tooling.
  • Interpreting and writing commentary on functional testing results.
  • Identifying, documenting, and resolving production issues pre- and post-migration.
  • Participating in the implementation of performance measurement and risk analytics systems and tools, including data validation and testing.
  • Providing concise client migration status updates and assisting with prioritization.
  • Presenting findings, outcomes, and solutions at stakeholder meetings.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree graduate in banking or business management.
  • Minimum of 7 years' experience working with institutional clients.
  • Minimum of 2 years working with market-leading performance, attribution, and analytics software platforms e.g. Factset.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in performance analysis, risk analytics, or investment analytics within the financial services industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with knowledge of investment products, asset classes, and financial markets.
  • Understanding of systems/software development lifecycle.
  • Proficiency with office productivity software.
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to work hard and be on a steep learning curve.
  • Attention to detail with demonstrated problem-solving ability.
