Job Description:

The Portfolio Specialist for Investment Management is responsible for the day-to-day monitoring, strategy execution and liquidity of the trust funds. He/ she aids in the efficient management of the funds as well as its compliance to regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the asset composition of trust Fund/s to meet pare in consonance with the strategic direction set by the Investment Guidelines.
  • Maintain portfolios to be in compliance with the investment mix of the various trust fund/s as approved by the bank's Investment Committee and per trust clients Investment Guidelines
  • Ensure compliance to internal control procedures in dealing with various Financial Institutions, equity/ fixed income brokers affiliates and other departments of the bank
  • Ensure day-to-day liquidity management of fund/s
  • Initiate the purchase/ sale of assets and investment instruments that will deliver maximum yields as directed by the group for overall investment strategy
  • Allocate investment transactions relative to bond, loans, stock market buying or selling, etc. as approved by the Trust Committee
  • Monitor portfolio performance and enact corresponding investment orders to comply with restrictions or regulations that are in accordance with the client's Investment Guidelines
  • Prepare periodic reports and perform other related duties that may be assigned from time to time
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree graduate with at least 1 -3 years of relevant work experience
  • Fresh graduates with great distinction are welcome to apply
