Data Architect Developer

Description:

This position focuses on designing and managing large-scale data pipelines to support real-time and batch processing of healthcare data across structured and unstructured formats. It involves ensuring compliance with data governance policies, enabling interoperability between healthcare systems, and enforcing strong data quality controls.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, build, and manage scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for real-time and batch processing of healthcare data.
  • Ensure pipelines can handle structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data from various healthcare systems.
  • Implement end-to-end data processing workflows including cleansing, enrichment, validation, and adherence to data governance standards.
  • Maintain all pipelines in compliance with established data governance protocols concerning security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
  • Automate data validation procedures and establish Data Quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to verify adherence to Key Data Elements (KDE) requirements.
  • Facilitate seamless integration of data across different systems and platforms while maintaining consistency.
  • Collaborate with Architects and Custodians to identify and resolve data quality issues through efficient solutions.
  • Optimize cloud-based data infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Continuously monitor pipeline performance, addressing issues such as failures, bottlenecks, or security risks proactively.
  • Ensure implemented solutions uphold data quality and governance standards.
Required Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
  • 1-3 years of experience.
  • Expertise in cloud-native data processing tools and frameworks.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, Java for data transformation and pipeline development.
  • Hands-on experience with orchestration tools.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code.
  • Experience implementing automated data quality checks.
  • Proficiency in monitoring tools for pipeline reliability.
  • Experience managing PHI/PII securely in cloud environments.
