Job Overview

As a seasoned content operations professional, you will lead and manage a group of freelance editors, ensuring thorough quality checks and feedback aligning their output with our content standards and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage freelance editor workflow to ensure timely delivery of high-quality content.
  • Collaborate with project managers and editors to resolve inquiries and improve communication.
  • Oversee content organization and updates to refine team workflows for optimal productivity and resource use.
  • Allocate transcripts to freelance editors, ensuring alignment with deadlines and meeting analysts' expectations while respecting the flexibility of freelance roles.
  • Optimize costs by carefully balancing fast-track and regular transcript requests, prioritizing regular timelines whenever possible to reduce expenses associated with fast-track requests.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in any field; a focus on writing, communications, or management is beneficial.
  • Proven experience in managing projects or leading remote teams effectively.
  • Previous content writing, editing, or quality assurance experience.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills, capable of clearly and professionally conveying ideas.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify issues in content quality or team workflows and propose effective solutions.
