The Role of a Settlement Analyst

  • Responsible for handling processes for listed derivatives, focusing on settlements. Develops expertise in trade date to settlement date processes, including pre-matching and confirmation, trade processing, cash transfer, instruction routing, depot and inventory management, funding and settlement monitoring.
  • Supports interfaces with internal and external stakeholders involved in the settlement process chain, adhering to market standards.
  • Engages with clients and counterparties daily, handling settlement-related queries.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor daily completion of tasks and propose changes via process improvements or digitalization to meet operational targets.
  • Collaborate with onshore stakeholders and other internal teams to resolve issues related to settlement processes, systems, etc.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Finance or its equivalent.
  • Experience in stakeholder management from Financial Services, Investment Banking, or Commercial Banking industry.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills combined with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A team player who is collaborative yet able to work independently.
