This is a senior leadership role that oversees the development of medium to long-term strategy and drives thought leadership in the industry.

The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to execute strategic plans, drive business growth, and optimize performance.

The role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure and analyze complex financial models.

Key responsibilities include facilitating strategic planning, driving execution discipline, leading dissemination of objectives, and maintaining a strong understanding of the business and market landscape.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience, with at least 3+ years' experience in management consulting or strategy function. Experience in the payments industry or retail strategy is preferred.

  • Facilitate country strategic plans through thoughtful analysis of market developments, opportunities & threats and recommendation of key strategies to be implemented
  • Drive overall country strategy execution by leading annual prioritization process and implementing strategy PMO framework to enhance execution discipline of defined priorities and account plans
  • Lead strategic dissemination of objectives across country and account levels ensuring alignment with organizational vision
  • Maintain strong understanding of business and local market landscape providing solid foundational context for critical strategic projects
  • Oversee monthly performance tracking through development and monitoring of comprehensive scorecards driving accountability strategic insight and continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with Sales Excellence team to ensure optimal client coverage world-class sales discipline/performance management and effective sales operating model within location
  • Partner with Finance and People teams on business planning including workforce/location planning budget management KPI monitoring operational and process improvements
  • Establish maintain appropriate governance for evaluation of investments expense management assuring profitable growth optimal resource allocation
  • Work cross-functionally ensuring close coordination with AP and market BPOs developing market visit materials curating updates from cluster for Visa's quarterly Earnings calls and other forums All Staffs EC Reports Board Notes etc.

This role is crucial in ensuring the country has the right data tools and resources to optimize and mitigate short and long-term opportunities and challenges.

The successful candidate will work in a hybrid environment, collaborating with stakeholders across cultures languages and time zones.

This role requires a strong personal presence excellent communication skills and the ability to deliver compelling messages to senior managers and external business partners.
