Cloud Engineer Lead Role

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to lead our team in designing, implementing and maintaining cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines.

  • This role offers the opportunity to architect scalable, secure and resilient cloud solutions that support our growing platform.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design, implement and maintain Kubernetes clusters across multiple environments
  2. Architect and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform
  3. Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for reliable, automated deployments
  4. Deploy monitoring, logging and alerting solutions for infrastructure and applications
  5. Establish security best practices and compliance across cloud resources
  6. Optimize cloud resource utilization for performance, reliability and cost-efficiency
  7. Design disaster recovery and high availability solutions for critical services
  8. Collaborate with full-stack engineers and data engineers to support application deployment needs
  9. Automate repetitive operational tasks and infrastructure management
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering with at least 2 years in a leadership role
  • Top 3 non-negotiable tools: AWS, Terraform, Docker
  • Understanding of networking concepts and implementation in cloud environments
  • Strong expertise in Kubernetes administration, deployment and troubleshooting
  • Experience implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines
  • Extensive experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code
  • Deep knowledge of AWS services (EKS, IAM, S3, RDS, EC2)
  • Strong understanding of container technologies (Docker)
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) for automation
