Crypto Asset Analyst

We seek an experienced Crypto Asset Analyst to join our team in identifying and evaluating emerging cryptocurrencies and Web3 projects with the potential for exponential returns.

You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive analyses, forming and presenting non-consensus hypotheses about the potential of selected projects. Your work will directly influence our investment strategies and contribute to our mission of maximizing ROI for our clients.

  1. Emerging Project Identification: Scout for early-stage crypto and Web3 projects that exhibit potential for 100x ROI, focusing on those not yet in the mainstream spotlight.
  2. Analysis and Hypothesis Development: Conduct in-depth analyses to form and present unique perspectives on market demand, innovation, scalability, adoption potential, and team execution capabilities.
  3. Investment Memo Preparation: Compile detailed investment memos articulating your hypothesis, supporting analysis, ROI projections, and risk assessment strategies in a concise and compelling format.
  4. Pitch Presentation: Develop and present persuasive pitches to the investment committee highlighting your insights and defending your investment thesis against critical evaluation.
  5. Market Research: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and regulatory changes in the crypto and blockchain landscape to inform investment decisions.
  6. Collaboration: Work closely with the investment team refining investment strategies and contributing to the firm's overall portfolio performance.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in investment analysis, preferably within the crypto, blockchain, or fintech sectors.
  • Analytical Skills: Exceptional ability to conduct detailed market research, financial analysis, and project evaluation using analytics tools and platforms.
  • Crypto Knowledge: Deep understanding of cryptocurrency markets, blockchain technology, and emerging Web3 innovations, including familiarity with technical and market factors affecting project scalability and adoption.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex investment theses clearly and persuasively.
  • Critical Thinking: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a knack for developing contrarian viewpoints and uncovering untapped investment opportunities.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in finance, blockchain, or cryptocurrency investments are a plus.
