Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketplace Listings Specialist to manage and expand product listings across multiple e-commerce platforms. This role is focused on listing optimization, platform expansion, and strategic adaptation of product descriptions to comply with marketplace rules.

This specialist will research automation tools, explore new sales channels, and contribute ideas for boosting sales performance. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in e-commerce listings or online marketplace management, strong written communication skills, and familiarity with major e-commerce platforms including Shopify, Amazon, Etsy, eBay, 1stDibs, Facebook Marketplace, and AptDeco.

The specialist will be responsible for creating, managing, and optimizing product listings, adapting product descriptions to meet marketplace restrictions, maintaining accurate inventory, and monitoring listing performance. They will also prepare and format auction submissions for LiveAuctioneers, coordinate with the business owner for approvals and updates, and use Photoshop or similar tools to edit and enhance product images.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, manage, and optimize product listings across multiple e-commerce platforms.
  • Adapt product descriptions to meet marketplace restrictions.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date inventory across all sales channels.
  • Research and recommend cross-posting automation tools.
  • Brainstorm and execute strategies to target niche buyers.
  • Prepare and format auction submissions for LiveAuctioneers.
  • Coordinate with the business owner for approvals and updates.
  • Monitor listing performance and provide regular reports.
  • Edit and enhance product images using Photoshop or similar tools.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in e-commerce listings or online marketplace management.
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with major e-commerce platforms.
  • Knowledge of inventory management best practices.
  • Basic image editing skills.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently.
  • Experience creating auction listings.
  • Proficiency with platforms like LiveAuctioneers.
