The Role:

We're seeking a highly skilled Coach to join our team. As a Coach, you'll be responsible for providing individual and group coaching sessions using our prescribed approach and following the ICF Core Competencies and ICF Code of Ethics.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively check-in with Teammates and invite them to individual coaching or group sessions
  • Provide individual and group coaching sessions using our prescribed approach
  • Partner with clients to create and implement individual action plans
  • Monitor and check-in with clients at specific times to help them achieve their set goals
  • Schedule and conduct regular and consistent individual and group coaching sessions
  • Create and organize confidential client files including intake and session documentation
  • Collect and evaluate necessary data to track clients' progress
  • Report accurate and consistent data using our prescribed tools
  • Assess emergency/crisis needs and ensure safety planning with clients and proper endorsement to mental health professionals
  • Design and facilitate wellness sessions, outreach programs and activities that support monthly programming and department objectives
  • Lead or co-lead projects assigned by the Manager and/or Director

Requirements:

  • Graduate degree in Psychology, Social Work, or similar field
  • Minimum 1 year experience in coaching, mentoring or counseling
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality
  • Outstanding communication skills, with emphasis on listening skills
  • Above average fluency in written and spoken English
  • Strong desire to help others
  • Flexibility to work with shifting hours
  • Proficient in office software applications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in mental health care
  • Certification in Life Coaching
  • Masters Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or similar field
  • Licensed Psychologist, Guidance Counselor, or Psychometrician
