Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at DDT Konstract Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing comprehensive and detailed registries of documents received for projects, updating registries during the Tendering Stage, and representing the company in Pre-Bid and Clarificatory Meetings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare detailed registries of documents received for projects and update them during the Tendering Stage.
  • Represent the company in Pre-Bid and Clarificatory Meetings.
  • Identify specific requirements needed in the submission of Commercial Bid Proposals.
  • Coordinate with project team members to prepare bid submissions, technical or financial.
  • Prepare Quantity Takeoffs of Civil, Structural, Architectural, MEPFS Works Packages.
  • Reconcile accomplished quantity takeoffs with other project team members to ensure consistency and transparency.
  • Analyze completeness of bid documents and compose specific and concise sentences for bid queries.
  • Represent the company during reconciliation works for Negotiated Contracts.
  • Prepare Bills of Quantities of materials, labor, equipment, and subcontract services based on bid document requirements.
  • Communicate and identify specific materials needed based on Bid specifications when securing quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Prepare specific lists of qualifications and exclusions based on bid requirements.
  • Undertake unit costs analysis during costing based on specific scope of work.
  • Support and comply with documentation and established process flows.
  • Prepare bid documents associated with projects for handover to Operations Group during handover.
  • Provide assistance to Operations on contractual claims.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of BS Civil Engineering course with professional license.
  • Academically excellent records.
  • Proficient in the use of various Microsoft Office applications.
