As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all construction costs are accurately estimated, managed, and reported.
Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
* Review architectural plans and prepare detailed quantity needs assessments
* Estimate the quantity and costs of materials required for each project
* Prepare contracts and documents related to construction costs and payments
* Set budgets for payments, inventory needs, and materials based on accurate estimates
* Analyze costs for maintenance and additional building needs, identifying potential savings opportunities
* Track changes in plans or constructions; update budgets accordingly
* Negotiate with contractors and subcontractors to ensure fair prices and timely deliveries
* Hire and document contractors and subcontractors, managing their performance and quality
* Act as a liaison between clients and site managers/engineers, communicating project progress and any issues
* Keep track of construction materials and inventory, ensuring efficient use and minimizing waste

Qualifications:
* Graduate degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture, with a Professional License in Engineering or Architecture (Passed Professional License Exam)
* At least 4 years of working experience in a related field, preferably in a supervisory role or with significant experience in architecture/interior design
* Experience in handling FIT OUT projects on site, with a strong understanding of estimating and cost engineering principles
* Knowledgeable in estimating software and proficient in computer skills and Microsoft applications
* Excellent attention to detail, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
