Job Overview

The IT Project Manager role involves overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of complex IT projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation strategies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Effectively manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.

  • Implement best practices for IT project management to minimize risks and optimize outcomes.
  • Define and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and value-for-money.
  • Allocate resources efficiently, balancing project demands and business priorities.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and business requirements.
  • Track project performance, providing detailed reports on project status, risks, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Conduct post-project evaluations and implement lessons learned to improve future project outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
  • 4-7 years of experience in IT project management or a related field.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Microsoft Project).
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and cloud computing.
  • Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines.
