Accounting Operations Manager
The Accounting Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounting functions of the organization, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reports. This role requires a strategic leader to develop and implement robust accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and organizational policies.
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
- Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Oversee tax planning and compliance.
- Coordinate and manage internal and external audits.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the accounting team.
- Collaborate with other departments to support business operations and strategic planning.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in leadership roles within accounting.
- Extensive knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
