Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Entry Clerk - Financial Services to join our team. This role is responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with finance policies and KPIs.

Responsibilities
  • Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including daily bank reconciliations, monthly balance sheet reconciliations, review of the P&L and Balance Sheet, and preparing and posting month-end related journals.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with company policies and accounting standards, as well as revenue recognition in management accounts through system reconciliation, inquiry, and understanding of processes.
  • Credit card reconciliation, including liaison with cardholders to ensure tax receipts are submitted and statements reconciled in a timely manner, credit card management, and submission for new credit cards, closure of cards no longer required, and maintenance of credit card limits where instructed.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with clerical proficiency, including posting journals, banking, reconciliation skills, and investigating variances.
  • Strong computer literacy, including knowledge of Microsoft Excel pivot tables and VLOOKUPs, as well as experience with SAP, QuickBooks, Xero, and MYOB accounting software.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and adaptability to a dynamic and changing work environment and priorities.
