We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Construction Estimator to join our team at Meralco Industrial Engineering Services Corporation. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Job Description

The Senior Construction Estimator will work closely with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities, and other relevant documents. You will also review building, construction, or architectural plans and prepare quantity needs and cost of materials.

In addition, you will create price/forecast of the cost of materials needed as well as feasibility studies. You will undergo Quantity Take-off and Plan interpretation, carry out monthly valuation of work in progress including forecasting of final cost and sales, and manage material submission, ordering, and procurement.

You will evaluate supplier/subcontractor quotations and measure and value work done on site. Your goal will be to come up with ways to reduce overall cost of a project ensuring the best value.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a degree in Architecture or a related field and be registered as an Architect. You must also be proficient in Microsoft tools and AutoCAD software.

A minimum of 2 years of work experience in Quantity Surveying and estimation is required, and you must be able to start immediately.
