Ecommerce Director Role

We seek a growth-oriented Ecommerce Director to lead digital revenue expansion and optimize online customer activations.

This role plays a pivotal part in managing ecommerce performance across multiple channels, enhancing the digital shopping experience, and driving key performance metrics such as Conversion Rate, Average Order Value, and Customer Lifetime Value.

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of ecommerce, digital marketing, and customer experience. They excel at transforming vision into action, prioritizing initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize the digital funnel for sustainable revenue growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage P&L for ecommerce channels to maximize profitability.
  • Lead and refine the ecommerce forecasting process to ensure data-driven decision-making for strategic planning.
  • Identify and execute new revenue and profit opportunities, overseeing ecommerce promotional and sales calendar while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Optimize online merchandising, bundling, sales, and promotions to enhance performance across all channels.
  • Develop and implement A/B testing strategies to drive improvements in Average Order Value, Conversion Rate, and site performance.
  • Utilize UI/UX insights and analytics to balance site performance with a seamless customer experience.
  • Oversee CRM strategies to enhance customer engagement, retention, and education.
  • Own the product roadmap, including new product launches, promotions, and digital funnel optimizations.
  • Ensure a smooth digital purchasing experience, including PDP ownership, product setup, shipping policies, and release testing.
  • Serve as a steward of Shopify and the broader digital ecosystem, overseeing custom development, third-party integrations, and website reliability.
  • Lead SEO strategy to enhance visibility and performance within a broader digital framework.

  • Average Order Value (AOV)
  • Conversion Rate (CVR)
  • Customer Lifetime Value (CLV)

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in ecommerce management with a strong analytical mindset and ability to drive business growth.
  • Expertise in P&L management and forecasting, ensuring data-driven insights inform business decisions.
  • Deep understanding of performance marketing and A/B testing methodologies to optimize ecommerce strategies.
  • Proficiency in UI/UX best practices to enhance site performance and customer experience.
  • Experience with Shopify, ReCharge, Klaviyo, and third-party ecommerce applications.
  • Strong knowledge of SEO, ecommerce analytics, and customer journey optimization.
  • Strategic understanding of product dynamics and consumer behavior to inform digital strategy.
