Instructional Support Assistant

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly qualified Instructional Support Assistant to join our team. As an Instructional Support Assistant, you will provide critical support to our teachers and students in creating a positive learning environment.

The successful candidate will assist with classroom activities, promote student engagement and academic success, and contribute to maintaining a safe and inclusive school climate.

Responsibilities:

  • Classroom Support: Assist teachers with lesson plans, instructional materials, and student assessments
  • Student Engagement: Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and academic growth
  • School Climate: Contribute to maintaining a safe and respectful school community by promoting positive behaviors and resolving conflicts
  • Communication: Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to ensure effective communication and student progress

Requirements:

  • Education: Associate degree or two years of college coursework
  • Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience: Previous experience working in an educational setting, preferably as a teaching assistant or paraprofessional
