Job Title: Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional with expertise in accounting to lead our financial operations. As a fully remote role, you will oversee the accuracy of our financial records and support the overall financial health of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Management: Manage all aspects of accounts payable and receivable, including processing vendor invoices, generating customer invoices, and overseeing collections.
  • Reconciliation: Perform regular bank, credit card, and general ledger reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Closing Process: Support the month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparing journal entries, accruals, and financial statements.
  • Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of key financial reports, such as the Profit & Loss statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statement.
  • Payroll Administration: Assist with the processing of payroll, ensuring all data is accurate and compliant with relevant regulations.
  • Data Integrity: Maintain the integrity of financial data within our accounting software and other systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience: 2-4+ years of hands-on experience in an accounting or full-charge bookkeeping role.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite) and a high level of skill in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Accounting Knowledge: A solid understanding of core accounting principles (e.g., GAAP).
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
  • Independence: The ability to work independently, manage your own time effectively, and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Setup: A reliable internet connection and a suitable home office setup.
