Bookkeeper and Credit Card Transaction Manager

Our organization is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper with a strong background in managing credit card transactions. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records related to credit card transactions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Credit Card Transaction Management:
    • Monitor and record all credit card transactions, categorizing them properly for accurate financial reporting
    • Reconcile credit card statements with accounting records to identify and resolve any discrepancies
    • Manage credit card payment schedules to avoid late fees and maintain our company's excellent credit health
  • Bookkeeping Duties:
    • Update and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable
    • Record daily transactions using accounting software like QuickBooks or Xero
    • Assist in preparing comprehensive financial statements, such as profit and loss reports and balance sheets
  • Expense Tracking and Analysis:
    • Track and validate employee credit card usage, ensuring compliance with our company policies
    • Organize and maintain receipts and documentation for all credit card expenses
    • Analyze spending patterns to provide insights for cost-saving opportunities
  • Financial Reporting and Compliance:
    • Generate detailed reports detailing credit card expenses and transactions for management review
    • Ensure adherence to all financial regulations and accounting standards
  • Additional Responsibilities:
    • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
    • Support audits by providing detailed credit card transaction records and reconciliations
    Requirements:
    • Proven experience in bookkeeping, preferably with credit card transaction management
    • Proficiency in accounting software like QuickBooks and Xero
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
    • Excellent problem-solving and reconciliation abilities
    • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards
