- Contribute to the preparation of BAS, GST, and other statutory filings.
- Reconcile accounts and perform general ledger maintenance.
- Collaborate with senior accountants on client engagements.
- Utilize Xero and other accounting software to manage client accounts efficiently.
- Suggest improvements to accounting processes and systems.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance technical skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in Australian accounting, preferably in a public practice environment.
- Detailed understanding of Australian tax compliance, reporting, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience with Xero is highly preferred; familiarity with other accounting software is beneficial.
- Strong analytical, communication, and time management skills.
