Job Description

As a seasoned Java Full Stack Engineer, you will develop, maintain and improve the software behind our platform.

Your primary responsibilities include translating business requirements into technical specifications by collaborating closely with product owners and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and delivery of high-quality software components.

  • Designing, developing, implementing new features/software products while enhancing/maintaining existing ones.
  • Performing quality assurance testing on your work and that of others to ensure the reliability of our products.
  • Reviewing code, asking clarifying questions, providing constructive feedback and maintaining a healthy codebase.
  • Ensuring timely software project delivery while adhering to established quality standards.
  • Continuously enhancing your technical knowledge and sharing insights with the team.
  • Diagnosing system issues and implementing effective resolution strategies.
  • Proactively identifying, solving and preempting problems related to software development and project delivery.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Proficiency in software development tools and frameworks, including Java frameworks like Spring and Spring Boot.

Expertise in frontend development tools and frameworks, including Vanilla JS and React.

Strong understanding of object-oriented design, functional programming and scripting.

Experience with modern software architectures and deployment tools, including microservices and CI/CD pipelines.

Familiarity with unit testing and Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodologies.

Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL database systems.

  • Willingness to work with legacy code.
  • Staying current with emerging technologies.
  • Proven experience in software development projects.
  • Skilled in system-level design, web services and version control.
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with cloud platforms is a plus.
