We are seeking a driven Business Development Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a pivotal role in our growth strategy.

Your primary focus will be on identifying potential customers across the APAC region and qualifying their interest in our aerial robots. You will work closely with our Regional Sales Manager to develop and execute a territory expansion plan, establishing lasting relationships with distribution partners and customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate leads using social media, phone, and networking activities.
  • Validate and qualify leads using outbound sales techniques to establish contact with the customer.
  • Hold virtual product demonstrations of the drone and its workflow as well as assist in person.
  • Introduce sales qualified leads (SQL) to our local partners and your Wingtra Regional Sales Manager in a well-documented manner.
  • Assist in the organization of roadshows, partner events, and tradeshows.
  • Create and maintain customer data in CRM tools.
  • Build the territory in a close working relationship with the Regional Sales Manager.
Requirements:
  • Experience cold calling, generating leads, and dealing with rejection.
  • Passionate, competitive, and curious by nature, open to continuously growing your skillset.
  • Well organized, able to document clearly and concisely.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate a strong aptitude for both selling and building lasting relationships with distribution partners and customers.
  • Persuasive, independent, at ease negotiating and developing trust.
  • Completed a post-secondary education or 1-2 years of professional working experience.
  • A high level of curiosity and an openness to being coached alongside senior sales staff.
  • Travel up to 20%.
