We are seeking researchers, retired researchers, and former researchers to perform peer reviews for journals and publishers in various academic fields.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate Originality: Assess whether a manuscript is original and adds new insights or knowledge to the field of study.
  • Assess Study Design and Methodology: Evaluate whether the study design and methods are appropriate, comprehensive, and clearly described.
  • Thorough Literature Review: Check whether a manuscript thoroughly incorporates and cites relevant research in the field.
  • Analyse Results and Conclusions: Evaluate whether results are presented clearly and appropriately, and whether conclusions are supported by the data.
  • Provide Constructive Feedback: Provide feedback suggesting improvements or highlighting flaws, omissions, or ethical concerns.
  • Make Recommendations: Decide whether a manuscript should be accepted, revised, or rejected based on evaluation.
Requirements
  • Advanced Degree: A doctorate (PhD/MD) or equivalent advanced degree in the subject area is required.
  • Publication History: At least two publications in the last two years in your field are expected.
  • Understanding Research Methodologies: A thorough understanding of research methodologies and ethical principles within the relevant discipline is essential.
  • Critical Thinking Skills: Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills are necessary.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written communication skills with the ability to provide clear, concise, and constructive feedback are required.

Familiarity with online manuscript submission and review systems is highly desirable. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and objectivity is crucial.
