They provide a comprehensive ecosystem for childminders and parents to accelerate children's development through play and learning inside the homes of childminders. Our client enables families to access high-quality childcare with a strong focus on child development and early years learning education, fostering a vibrant community across neighborhoods and beyond.
About the Role
As a Payment Operations Specialist, your key responsibility is to ensure the accurate processing and recording of payments and other financial transactions between our client and their partners. You will collaborate closely with the Accounting team to maintain accuracy and efficiency. Furthermore, you will provide exceptional customer service to potential childminders, parents, and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support newly registered childminders in launching and running their settings successfully as part of the frontline team.
- Address payment queries from childminders via online chat or phone.
- Assist families throughout their onboarding experience and while using a home nursery.
- Ensure all care is invoiced and paid for, providing ongoing support for active placements.
- Deliver excellent customer service to enable childminders to grow their businesses effectively.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience in customer service, payments, or financial services.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or any related field.
- A strong customer mindset with ability to build strong relationships with our community.
- A strong aptitude for numbers and detail-oriented individual who can roll up sleeves to get into details.
- Ability to handle challenging customer situations effectively.
- Known for explaining complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner.
- Possesses problem-solving skills and enthusiasm for improving processes.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, front-line support position.
