Job Overview

The Logistics Management Lead will be responsible for managing the delivery assurance process and its related activities. This includes reviewing and releasing purchase orders, assessing and resolving issues such as pre-delivery variance, grievances, action requests, invoice and stock/delivery mismatches, and defer and cancellation messages.

The successful candidate will expedite, align and negotiate material and component delivery dates to support operational needs. They will also communicate potential risks and recommend mitigating activities to support alignment to material need date.

The role requires strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage team member performance and development processes, versatility matrix & training. The successful candidate will also lead improvements to the process, perform root cause and corrective actions through core tools.

  • Manage the delivery assurance process and activities
  • Rapid response purchase order release, supplier confirmation, and price variance processing.
  • On time delivery of parts to scheduled need date.
  • Issues resolution including but not limited to AR, grief, invoice to PO mismatch, and PDVs.
  • Cancel and defer of Orders.
  • Lead Improvements and root cause analysis.
  • Lead sourcing, work transfer and rapid response
