Job Description

Our Tax Compliance Specialist will be responsible for implementing tax policies, advising on local tax compliance matters and handling tax filing submissions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Implementing tax policy to ensure effective governance over taxation matters
  • Advising on local tax compliance matters
  • Handling tax filing submissions and preparing reports/updates to the head of finance
  • Managing on-going tax audits and driving process changes to prevent and/or limit tax audits

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Preferably a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification
  • At least five years of experience in a similar role, preferably in corporate tax compliance or audit firm dealing in tax matters
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of business and industry principles
  • Demonstrated in-depth knowledge and application of taxation principles and local tax regulations
  • Hands-on experience in Finance and Accounting functions directly related to local tax regulations
