Job Title:

Digital Marketing Strategist

This role involves developing and implementing comprehensive digital marketing strategies that drive business growth. A strong focus is placed on organic search optimization, including technical SEO, on-page optimizations, and linking development.

Key responsibilities include owning strategic decisions within organic search optimization, executing the company's playbook for client industries, ensuring account execution follows the company's methodology, and analyzing performance data for monthly and quarterly reporting.

A key aspect of this position is ideating experiments for client accounts designed to produce the highest likelihood of performance improvement, working with design and editing partners to ensure content is using the most search-friendly creative, and acting as Quality Assurance for all conversion tracking.

Documenting client-specific tasks for delegation to other team members, attending client meetings as a subject matter expert, auditing other client accounts and prospect accounts for opportunity harvesting and strategy validation, contributing to iterative documentation improvements of industry teams and organic search discipline are also essential duties.

The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of the modern digital customer acquisition funnel and its intersection with SEO tactics, strong technical SEO skills, demonstrated through experience with schema markup, site architecture, internal and external linking strategies, page redirects, and status codes.

They will be able to maintain a detailed six-month roadmap of SEO initiatives and tasks, aligning with business objectives and adapting to market trends, track, manage, and report on defined SEO performance KPIs, leveraging insights to optimize strategies and drive improvements.

Conducting strategic forecasting and budget planning for SEO efforts on six-month or longer timeframes to ensure sustained growth, setting up and troubleshooting conversion tracking for digital analytics, ensuring accurate data collection to inform SEO decisions, and demonstrating expertise with key SEO tools and platforms such as Google Search Console, Ahrefs, and SEMrush.

Additionally, the ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a professional services organization, 5+ years of professional experience in digital marketing, 3+ specialized in SEO, experience leading or managing teams of individual contributors, and a preference for candidates with experience working for/with law firms.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Preference given to candidates with experience working for/with law firms
