Job Description

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Services Professional to join our team.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in accounting, tax law and financial reporting, with a strong understanding of client needs and expectations.
  • Key responsibilities include preparing financial statements, income tax returns and Business Activity Statements for sole traders, partnerships, trusts and companies, in various industries.
  • The successful candidate will also be responsible for interpreting and understanding tax law, explaining the law and its implications to clients, and maintaining accurate records of client history and trust details.
Your skills and attributes
  • A Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Accounting, or a similar relevant qualification.
  • 2 plus years' experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new software, with experience using Xero, MYOB and/or QuickBooks being an advantage.
  • Demonstrated energy and drive, as well as a positive attitude, interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to learn and develop within the profession.
