Accounting Position

This part-time accounting position offers a unique opportunity to join our team as an accountant. The role involves working on various accounting tasks, including billing and invoicing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, debt follow-up, and reconciliation.

Responsibilities
  • Billing & Invoicing
    • Generate and issue customer invoices accurately and on time.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and tax regulations.
    • Maintain proper documentation of all billing records.
  • Accounts Payable
    • Process supplier invoices, credit notes, and payments.
    • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
    • Manage payment schedules and ensure timely disbursement.
  • Accounts Receivable
    • Process supplier invoices, credit notes, and payments.
    • Monitor customer accounts for delayed payments.
    • Prepare aging reports and escalate overdue accounts.
  • Debt Follow-Up
    • Contact clients with overdue invoices via phone or official letters.
    • Maintain a log of collection activities and customer communications.
    • Collaborate with sales or legal teams on complex or delinquent accounts.
  • Reconciliation
    • Perform regular reconciliations of bank statements, ledgers, and sub-ledgers.
    • Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a similar accounting or finance role.
  • Solid understanding of billing, AP/AR, and reconciliation processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
