This role involves managing accounts receivable, ensuring timely collections, and maintaining accurate financial records. The Accounts Receivable and Collection Specialist is responsible for handling all aspects of customer billing and payments.
- Utilize accounting software to manage accounts receivable and track payment records, reconciling and applying them accurately within the system.
- Handle incoming payments and resolve any payment disputes or issues that may arise.
- Contact clients to follow up on overdue invoices and ensure timely payment.
- Prepare and issue invoices, credit memos, and account statements in a timely manner.
- Generate and analyze reports related to accounts receivable and collection efforts to identify areas for improvement.
- Work collaboratively with the finance team to develop effective strategies for managing accounts receivable and improving cash flow.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable and collections.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
