Senior Accountant Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial processes.

  • Responsibilities include processing high volumes of invoices, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with company policies and local regulations.
  • You will also be responsible for reviewing and verifying vendor invoices, preparing payment runs, and maintaining accurate records in our accounts payable system.
  • In addition, you will assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including the preparation of accruals, journal entries, and reconciliations.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Invoice Processing: Process and manage a high volume of invoices, ensuring accurate coding and approval in accordance with company policies.
  2. Vendor Management: Review and verify vendor invoices against contracts and receipts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  3. Payment Administration: Handle complex invoice discrepancies and vendor payment issues, working directly with vendors and internal departments to resolve.
  4. Financial Reporting: Generate and analyze AP reports to monitor aging and cash flow. Assist with audits, providing necessary documentation and supporting evidence for AP-related inquiries.
