Accounting Manager Job Summary

We are seeking an accomplished accounting professional to join our team in the United States of America. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with standard U.S. accounting practices and methods, as well as a strong analytical and mathematical skillset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare financial reports for management and external agencies on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis
  • Perform project life-cycle cost analysis, including sales and marketing expenditures, sales orders, and purchase orders
  • Develop and interpret financial information to minimize financial risk
  • Conduct internal and external audits, preparing fiscal documentation and managing financial accounting systems
  • Plan and prepare budgets, forecasting, and cash flow monitoring
  • Manage the Finance and Accounting team, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, invoicing, bank and account reconciliations, billing, coding, and payments
  • Federal and state tax reporting, quarterly and year-end closing

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in accounting or finance
  • CPA certification
  • 5 years of experience in managing full accounting duties in a medium- or large-size company
  • Advanced knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Experience with ERP accounting software, Microsoft Dynamics
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills
  • High professional standards and ethics, ability to handle confidential information
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Performance management of support staff
  • Direct experience coordinating internal and external audits
