We are seeking an Associate Engineer, Product Environmental Compliance Operations to join our team in Quezon City, Philippines. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in ensuring and maintaining the compliance of business unit articles with global laws such as EU REACH, RoHS, Conflict Minerals, Proposition 65, etc.
The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and cleansing monthly business unit data downloads, answering and supporting point of contact for any questions about legislation, chemical substance breakdowns, or process- or procedure-related questions. This is a unique opportunity to drive growth platforms and support operational pillars while striving for long-term value creation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform regular meetings with the business unit point of contact to discuss action registry, compliance status, and targets.
- Review engineering drawings and material specifications to create Full Material Declaration that contains actual breakdown of homogeneous materials and chemical substances.
- Conduct supplier outreach for material declaration submission.
- Interpret and verify supplier material declaration submissions before they are loaded into the system.
- Provide support for design for compliance (NPD and PPAP) and customer compliance for part prioritization.
- Attend training, workshops, seminars, and focus group discussions with the team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of relevant work experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel and PowerPoint.
- Working knowledge of Materials and Chemicals.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
