Electrical Asset Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Asset Specialist to ensure the accuracy and reliability of utility asset datasets.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and Analyze Assets: Conduct thorough inspections and analysis of overhead electrical infrastructure to ensure high-accuracy cataloging of assets.
  • Identify Equipment Issues: Detect potential hazards and provide real-time data to enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Develop Datasets: Assist in creating and maintaining utility asset datasets to support operational improvements and alignment with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with internal teams to ensure data accuracy, safe project execution, and efficient operations.
  • Stay Updated on Standards: Stay current on industry standards, regulations, and best practices to enhance technical knowledge and skill development.

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of experience in the electric utility field (preferred).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient computer skills with good written and oral communication abilities.
  • Working knowledge of the National Electrical Safety Code, national engineering standards, utility construction standards, and best industry engineering practices.
