Job Title

A dynamic and experienced professional is required to join our team as a Tax Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing client projects, providing support to existing clients, and conducting annual nexus reviews.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled individual who can work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality results. The ideal candidate will have experience in tax auditing, consultancy, or advisory, and possess excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage changes to existing client accounts in areas such as annual nexus reviews, application for new permits, permit closure requests, offboarding, tax settings, and new sales channels.
  • Support existing clients with any issues that arise related to tax collection settings, new platforms, new permits, permit closures, and offboarding.
  • Analyze economic and presence factors to determine where existing clients have changes in their sales tax nexus obligations on an annual basis.
  • Update and test tax collection settings on sales platforms to ensure clients are collecting sales tax on their new permit start or end dates.
  • Support clients who offboard from our services including managing permit closure information, final billings and paperwork, removing the client from our systems, and ensuring the client has a positive experience at the end of our service.

Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in tax auditing, consultancy, or advisory.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with tax software and platforms.
