Job Description

As a seasoned professional in software project management, you will play a pivotal role in driving progress and enabling global organizations to thrive in an ever-changing landscape.

Our organization is dedicated to reimagining impact and shaping the future with innovative software solutions. We are seeking a qualified Senior Level Software Project Manager who will oversee and work closely with the development teams to ensure that all software projects are completed on time, within budget constraints, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning: Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to define project goals, timelines, and deliverables. Develop detailed project plans outlining tasks, timelines, dependencies, and required resources.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and oversee the software development team, ensuring they have the necessary resources, tools, and support to complete their work on time and to a high standard. Delegate tasks and responsibilities, monitor progress, and provide feedback and coaching to team members.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues that may impact the project and develop strategies to mitigate them. Monitor the project for potential risks and take proactive steps to address them.
  • Communication: Foster effective communication between stakeholders, team members, and external partners to keep them informed about project progress, risks, and issues.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that the software developed by the team meets the required quality standards. Develop and implement quality assurance processes and procedures, conduct code reviews, and ensure thorough and effective testing.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of Jira workflows, issue types, and Agile boards.
  • Experience with automation rules and AI-based task/reporting tools.
  • Basic scripting/API familiarity is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and multitasking skills.
  • 3-5 years of experience in software project management.
  • Proven experience as a project manager in a software development environment.
  • Extensive understanding of Management Information Systems, software development, IT infrastructure, and relational database systems.
