Logistics Strategist

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and negotiate with carriers to optimize supply chain processes, reducing costs and enhancing efficiency.
  • Develop and implement data-driven solutions to improve freight management and hub computation.
  • Design and maintain internal and supplier routing guides for efficient shipping and delivery.
  • Monitor and analyze monthly freight spending against budget, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Manage master service agreements, ensuring compliance and adherence to agreed-upon terms.
  • Collect and provide essential data for freight rate planning and optimization.
  • Create training materials and handle cargo claims for lost or damaged goods.
  • Develop reports and metrics to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, business administration, or computer information systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum of two years' experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a similar role.

  • Critical thinking skills to resolve logistics and supply chain issues.
  • Effective communication skills to convey findings and recommendations.
