Procurement Leadership Position

This is an exciting opportunity to assume a pivotal role as the Head of Procurement. The ideal candidate will be able to leverage their expertise in procurement, leadership skills, and ability to drive strategic sourcing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement functional strategic plans that address evolving business requirements and issues.
  • Continuously review external trends and identify internal opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Align development plans for managers with the functional strategic plan to create structure, accountability, responsibility, and focus.
  • Oversee routine operational reviews that cascade through the organization to all levels, enabling rapid escalation of issues for resolution and improved performance.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or any 4-year Business-related course.
  • 8-10 years solid experience in Supply Chain Management, including sourcing, supplier accreditation, negotiation, inventory control, contract management, and logistics/warehousing.
  • At least 5 years of leadership experience in a manager role.

The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will also have a proven track record of driving cost savings and improving operational efficiency.
